A tall vase with fine decoration in soft cobalt blue depicting a pair of deers between Pawlonia and Pines trees with geeses.
Every feature such as porcelain paste, potting, glaze, and decoration is very much resemblance Hirado ware, but the vase is signed "Houkokusha Sei" ("芳國社製"), a Shibukasa kiln.
The name is formed by a group of merchant in early Meiji when the kiln lost financial support of the Shogun at the end of Edo period.
